Follow these steps and use Auto-Duck in Real Time like a pro!
Feel free to experiment with different settings. You can change any parameter when auto-ducking is started, so you can adjust them all in real time to achieve desired effect. Use visual meters and actual and peak values for adjusting parameters
You can save your settings as project or as preset. The only differences between them are:
To duck all applications not selected as Input channels or channels To Duck you can select [All but selected] as channel To Duck. You can exclude any application from being ducked by this channel by enabling Exc option on [All but selected] channel and selecting applications to exclude.
Below Start/Stop buttons there is switch Mute not selected apps - when enabled it will mute any application not included in Input channels or Channels To Duck. This option has no effect when [All but selected] channel is selected
In Settings menu you can find also some useful features:
Auto-Duck in Real Time, starting from version 2.0, has ability to perform remote ducking - signal from one computer is send to another computer, where it is used as ducking trigger. Both computers must be in LAN.
To setup remote ducking between 2 computers (A - sender, B - receiver):
In this way you can create more complicated multi-computer setups.
